Rainy Sunday

We were at Nick's parents last Sunday and Halle and Abe wanted to play in the rain.  And play they did!

Pirates and Princesses

So Mariel and I took the girls to see Disney on Ice in Salt Lake.  I think we were more excited than they were at  first!  It was fun, they dressed up in their "princess" garb.  We saw the Lion King, Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Lilo and Stitch, and Mickey and the gang!  We had a good time.  Afterwards we went out to dinner.  Thanks for the fun ladies!

Happy First Birthday!

Saturday was Sawyer's first birthday.  We had a little get together at our house on Sunday.  Of course he really didn't know what was going on, but we all had fun!

Of course he needed Halle's help....

We are so blessed to have this sweet little boy a part of our family.  He is always happy, (except when he's hungry) he loves to give kisses and hugs and loves music.  Like Grandpa says- "He is easy to love!"  Happy birthday buddy!

Poor Thing!

Last Tuesday, we took Halle to get her tonsils and adnoids out, and tubes put in her ears.  We finally decided to do it after taking her to an ENT.  Her hearing hadn't been very good for a long time.  She was constantly turning everything up loud and asking us to repeat ourselves.  I was kinda scared but knew it would help her in the long run.  It's been a rough week and the poor thing has been in a lot of pain, but she told us the other night "Daddy the music is too loud!"

The best thing about it is all the popsicles, ice cream and jello!
