The County Fair

I LOVE going to the County Fair! So I hauled my poor kids down there four times all in all. (Luckily it's just a block away so we can walk:)

We definitely had a WILD TIME!

My sweet mom and I went and picked apricots today and then made five batches of jam!  Bless her heart!  It was nice being in the kitchen with her and remembering when I was younger all the things she did when I was at home, and hoping someday I would do that for my family. Thanks mom!

Kid-a-loonies

I was on the treadmill today, going oh so fast because I knew the kid-a-loonies would be awake from their naps soon.  I wasn't fast enough.  This is what I found.  (Notice the box of cereal also:)

The Newest Member of the Fam.... For a Day

Being the thoughtful wife I am, I thought this little guy would be a great Father's day present!  (I think I got confused with Mother's Day or something:)  Anyways, we decided having another dog in the fam wasn't in our "best interest" right now.  So after a day we said goodbye to the little guy- broke my heart:(  No worries though- for $75 dollars we found him a good home!
